The Blue Crabs came out swinging in the 5th getting 8 runs to break up a scoreless game.
Octavio Martinez lead off the 5th inning with an error to get on base but would soon return to the dugout getting out on a fielder's choice hit into by Chuck Jeroloman. John Ramistella would double score Chuck and then Mike Just would single. Patrick Osborn would single scoring John and then James Shanks would be intentionally walked. Jermy Acey would single scoring Mike. Lance Burkhart would double scoring James Shanks and Patrick Osborn. Octavio would come up to bat for the second time in the inning scoring Jermy Acey and Lance Burkhart with a double. Octavio would then score on a RBI double hit by Chuck Jeroloman. Eight runs however would not be enough for the Crabs at they would add two runs on a two run home run hit by Patrick Osborn in the 6th after Mike Just singled to lead off the inning. A final run would come in the 9th when Jeremy Owens would walk and advance to third on a wild pitch. He would cross the plate on a sacrifice fly hit by Lance Burkhart.
Kenny Rayborn was nearly perfect in his start going 5.2 innings of scoreless and hitless ball before allowing the only hit of the game a solo home run to Jason Aspito. Kenny struck out two batters and walked no one going 8 innings. Paul Estrada closed out the game getting a strike out while surrendering a walk but allowing no runs. In the Blow Out win both Richard Giannotti and Anthony Perry saw action.
