The Blue Crabs do not appear to be off to a strong start for the second half, dropping to 0-3 on the half losing all three games to the Long Island Ducks.
Keith Ramsey pitched in his second game of the season going 5.1 innings for the loss. After getting out to a strong start through 4 innings Keith would struggle through the 5th. He surrendered 2 runs in the 4th, and then 3 more in the 5th on a 3 run home run. Keith allowed a total of 5 runs all earned on 11 hits and a strike out. Paul Estrada would then come in to finish the 6th and the entire 7th. Paul allowed only one hit and one walk while striking out 1 during the inning and two-third. Jimmy Serrano pitched the ninth, allowing a lead off home run before getting a looking strike out. With two outs he allowed a single that would be negated on a fielder's choice.
The Crabs again managed to score 2 runs. The First of which came off a lead off double hit by Liu Rodriguez. Liu scored on an RBI single hit by Jeremy Owens. Richard Giannotti would then lead off the 6th with a walk and advance to third on a wild pick off attempt by the pitcher. He would then score on a RBI double hit by Patrick Osborn.
