The Blue Crabs have announced that they have Traded Outfielder Mike Conroy to the Grand Prairie Air Hogs in the American Association for future considerations. Mike played in 17 games with the Blue Crabs amassing 50 at bats, 11 hits, 8 runs, 2 RBIs, a double and a triple. He was hitting .220. He had 10 strike outs and 8 walks while stealing 2 bases.
The American Association is an independent league played in the middle of the United State with teams stretching from Minnesota to Texas. They play in a 96 game season going from the middle of May until the end of August. It is a ten team league with 2 divisions. Grand Prairie is currently in 3rd place in their division 7.5 games behind the division leader.
