Two Familiar Faces Resign

It has been announced on both the Blue Crabs official website, as well as the Atlantic League website that two familiar faces have resigned with the Blue Crabs.

All-Star Third Baseman and Blue Crabs record holder for most games played, Patrick Osborn has resigned with the Blue Crabs for the third season in a row. Though he faced some injury issues last season, he was still about to knock 14 long balls, and play in 121 games.

Pitcher Jim Ed Warden will also be returning, no doubt taking the closer's job this upcoming season. Jim left the Blue Crabs in early June after being signed to a contract with the New York Mets, where he was able to work through their system up to the AAA level. He will likely be a strong addition to the bullpen as he was last year, for as long as he goes unsigned by the Majors.

More updates on the roster as the come in. Only 73 more days until opening day!
